Training Grants

Foundation Support For Staff & Volunteer Education

The Credit Union Foundation of MD|DC helps improve people’s lives by supporting credit unions’ abilities to serve their members and communities. Training grants to assist credit union staff and volunteers are an important component in meeting that goal.

The Foundation offers training reimbursements to Maryland and D.C.-based credit unions with assets up to $150 million to access training that improves service to members and communities.  Training grants are also available to eligible credit unions not based in Maryland nor D.C. but that are affiliated with the Maryland and District of Columbia Credit Union Association.

Program details:

  • Reimbursements up to $2000 per year, per credit union to help defray training costs

  • Credit unions are free to select their preferred training provider
  • Training reimbursement requests may be applied to the cost of training/tuition itself, not to travel or lodging
