To facilitate collaboration among local credit union professionals, the Foundation created and funded LINX, an online idea- and file-sharing service provided without charge to credit union professionals.
LINX offers registrants the ability to post questions within a variety of focused topic areas and receive responses from colleagues. Users can search the growing archive of posts and responses. The site also provides for document storage and exchange.
LINX allows users to focus and search in specific areas of interest where other users post questions, respond to posts, and exchange documents.
Unlike simple “discussion board” services where users are flooded with unwanted emails and responses, LINX users access the free service and choose only those posts on which they want to receive updated information.
LINX topics include:
In an effort to generate interest and activity, the Foundation presents gift awards to randomly selected LINX users twice a year. Registered users are allotted one chance to win for every query or response they post on the site.
Past awards have included gift cards, single-serve coffee makers, Apple iPads and other valuable gifts.
