Grants Awarded For COVID-19 Support

$20,000 In Direct Grants Awarded

Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, the Maryland and District of Columbia Credit Union Association and the Credit Union Foundation of Maryland and the District of Columbia collaborated to provide direct funding grants to eligible credit unions who provided support to their staff, volunteers, members, and/or communities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pool of funding, provided by Alloya Corporate FCU and totaling $20,000, was divided evenly among eligible applicants who shared stories of how their credit union provided support to staff, members and communities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

These one-time awards were granted to twenty-eight credit unions who completed and submitted their applications*.
