Roderic Flowers Joins CU Foundation MD|DC Board

Roderic Flowers, Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer, SECU of Maryland, has been elected to the CU Foundation MD|DC Board of Directors.

Mr. Flowers has been with SECU for 13 years and is currently the Senior Vice-President of Human Resources Development, Chief People Officer.

Mr. Flowers has over thirty years of experience in human resource management in both profit and not-for profit organizations.  Prior to joining SECU, he was the HR Director for the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Baltimore.  His background includes expansive experience in HR leadership, workforce development and strategic planning. He holds both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.

Mr. Flowers earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and Education from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and a Masters degree from the University of Maryland.  He also serves an Adjunct Instructor in their Graduate Professional Studies Program at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.

The CU Foundation MD|DC is a 501 (c) (3) public charity dedicated to supporting credit unions and the communities they serve with an emphasis on financial literacy, small credit union support, leadership development, professional development and education.
